The birth of the MGTOW movement.
Harvey Korman has a quality as a comedian that few others in the history of comedy have had. And that is I can just look at him and start laughing. He doesn't even need to do much. Just his facial expressions alone can make me burst out in laughter. Put that together with his dialogue and mannerisms, and he is one of the funniest people to ever perform. Of all comedians of all time, I can only say this about 5 people...Harvey Korman, John Belushi, Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean), John Cleese, and John C. Reilly. Steve Martin circa the 70's and 80's also, but his career went downhill when he started doing family movies and chick flicks late in his career. Korman is just classic though. They don't make 'em like him anymore.
When Tim makes those weird noises, I'm instantly taken back to him playing Peg's father on Married With Children.

Love my trucker! This is hysterical
Gone are the good ole days. What I would give to have this sort of thing on tv again. not the garbage we have now, but real good Christian comedy. Why my entire retirement home just loves these ole shows. We watch them all day and all night while peeing in our Depends and popping our pills. We heard of this thing called HBO but we don't need new fangled technology. Why my great grandson is typing this on his computer from a sheet I wrote on my typewriter.

Daniel Natal
Daniel Natal:
TV writing was better because they were showing you authentic "types," people you'd see in the real world. It resonated. Today's TV writing is filled with propaganda to "condition us," to present us this weird (non-existent) utopian world of the Left's idea of social justice. The characters don't resonate because, in real life, people don't generally see 102-lb women beating up 5 bouncers in a club. Black people are generally not computer nerds, and "street hoods" are generally not Danish accountants. The world you see on TV now is cynical propaganda, crafted to shape your "values" and make you conform to new social engineering initiatives. Even the commercials are all based on demographic un-realities. All pumped up you like a fire hose. . . . Long story short: People want to see characters that they recognize from real life, situations they've witnessed before, authentic reflections of the world as it exists. (Not the fantasy world of the Radical Left.) People can tell the difference between writing that respects their intelligence, and writing that insults their intelligence (by people who look down on the rest of the country as "dumb hicks in flyover country"). TV writers in the past loved Americans. TV writers now measure their sophistication in how many ways they can insult Americans and crap on their values.
